Passport Appointment Only to be Obtained
from the Embassy’s Official Website

(Riyadh, 1 August 2017) – It has come to the attention of the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that certain websites, social media pages, agencies as well as private individuals have been offering assistance to Filipinos in order to obtain an appointment for the purpose of renewing their Philippine passports at the Embassy in Riyadh and during the conduct of mobile services or Embassy on Wheels (EOW) in key cities in the Eastern Region.

These agencies and individuals have been charging an amount for the said service ranging from SR100.00 to SAR500.00.

The Embassy reiterates that this practice is not authorized by the Embassy and that obtaining an appointment through the Embassy’s website is free of charge and can be obtained from the Embassy’s official website at: www.riyadhpe.dfa.gov.ph.

The Filipino community is again reminded to be more vigilant in dealing with such agencies and individuals and to report similar unscrupulous practices to the Embassy by sending an email to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Said websites, social media pages, agencies and individuals who have been engaged in the said practices should likewise immediately cease and desist from this unauthorized activity.
