ENCODING AND PAYMENT FOR YOUR PASSPORT

Your photo and biometrics will be captured at the encoding area.

Review your passport enrollment certificate before signing, as your signature indicates consent and acceptance of the details as encoded for printing in your new passport. If there is a mistake in the encoding (the most common mistakes are birthdates, the spelling of the first name or surname, and gender of an infant), the resulting passport will also carry that mistake. In such cases, the applicant will have to reapply for a new passport, pay for the same fees, and wait for the same amount of time (30-45 days).

Bring this collection slip to the cashier for processing and pay the passport fee of 240.00 Saudi Riyals for regular renewal in cash.

As part of our government regulations, the Embassy does not accept debit or credit cards. The nearest ATM machines and bank are about 200 meters away.

Please note that if the payment is not made, the ePassport process will not be complete, and you will be unable to claim any passport, as the system will not start the manufacture of your passport.

PASSPORTS IN RIYADH OR OTHER CITIES?

The Embassy also conducts outreach to various cities in the Kingdom, and also to the Riyadh Industrial City. Those applying for a regular renewal during outreach missions except during those at the Riyadh Industrial City require an appointment from the online system.

REQUIREMENTS FOR E-PASSPORT RENEWAL:

1. Appointment
2. Personal appearance
3. Original passport for renewal
4. Photocopy of passport (data page only)
5. Duly accomplished passport application form that can be downloaded from the Embassy website or obtained from Window 3 of the Consular Section or at the Information Desk at the Embassy lobby (no photo needed). Make sure you complete all entries before you come to the Embassy.

REQUIREMENTS FOR REPLACEMENT OF DAMAGED PASSPORT

1. Personal appearance
2. Original damaged passport
3. Affidavit of Damage of Passport
4. E-passport application form (no photo needed)

REQUIREMENTS FOR REPLACEMENT OF LOST PASSPORT:

1. Personal appearance
2. Photocopy of Lost Passport. If not available: Original and a photocopy of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) issued Birth Certificate
3. For Married Females: Original and photocopy of PSA-issued Marriage Contract
4. Any of the following Valid IDs with one(1) photocopy:
  - Social Security System (SSS)
  - Government Service Insurance System(GSIS)
  - Unified Multi-Purpose Identification (UMID) Card
  - Land Transportation Office (LTO) Driver's License
  - Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) ID
  - Philippine Identification (PhilID)/ ePhilID
  - Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) E-Card
  - Integrated Department of Labor and Employment(iDOLE) card
  - Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Voter's ID or Voter's Certificate issued from COMELEC main office in Intramuros, Manila

  - Seaferer's Record Book (SRB) or Seaferers Identity Document (SID) (*must be issued Feb 2020 onwards) issued by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA)
  - Valid or Latest Passport (For Renewal of Passport)
  - Valid School ID (if applicable) or Certificate of Enrolment with photo of minor and dry seal of school (if School ID is not applicable) - this only applies to student applicants
  - Iqama
  - Note:
  - For applicants based overseas, they may use their host government issued IDs showing their Philippine citizenship. (Example: Residence Card).
  - All IDs presented should be readable, untampered and contain consistent information with the documents presented upon application.
  - Original and photocopy of IDs and supporting documents are required to be presented upon application.
  - Important Reminder: The Department may require additional supporting documents as may be necessary.
5. Report of lost passport from Jawazat (Saudi Passport Office) with English translation
6. Affidavit of Loss in English
7. Duly accomplished E-passport application form (no photo needed)

(Note: There is a 15 working days waiting period before the approval of the passport application)

REQUIREMENTS FOR NEWLY BORN APPLICANTS FOR E‑PASSPORT:

1. Original and photocopy of Report of birth
2. Original and photocopy of PSA-issued Marriage contract of parents
3. Original and photocopies of parent's passport (data page only)
4. Duly accomplished passport application form

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RENEWAL OF PASSPORT FOR MINOR APPLICANTS (17 years old and below)

1. Personal appearance of the minor applicant
2. Personal appearance of either parent
3. Original and photocopy of Minor's Passport
4. Original and photocopy of Parents' Passport
5. Original and photocopy of PSA-issued Birth Certificate of the Minor applicant
6. Original and photocopy of PSA-issued Marriage Contract of parents
7. Duly accomplished passport application form

The Embassy does not charge any fee for scheduling an appointment.

Available passports at the Embassy may be claimed during office hours on weekdays only.

Please bring cash to avail of the services since the Embassy does not yet have a credit /debit facility.

For Embassy-on-Wheels (EOW), separate guidelines will be provided through Advisories.

The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh announces that the regulations of the International Civil Aviation Organization require that all non-machine readable passports should be out of circulation before 24 November 2015.

Filipinos in the Kingdom are advised to secure an appointment for the renewal of their non-machine readable passports and secure an ePassport to avoid problems in the future.

However, non-machine readable passports that are valid for less than six (6) months may be EXTENDED IN THE FOLLOWING INSTANCES (in accordance with DFA instructions):

Death in the family requiring the OFW and members of his/her dependentfamily to urgently travel to the Philippines;
Medical emergencies requiring the OFW and members of his/her dependent family to urgently travel to the Philippines or another country for medical treatment; and
Urgent work related cases (renewal of iqama and visas).

In these instances,proof of urgency such as a copy of the death certificate, medical certificate and expired iqama and visas with english translation.

ONCE THE EXTENSION IS GRANTED, THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS SHALL THEN APPLY:

THE EXTENSION SHALL ONLY BE DONE ONCE
The applicant shall also apply for an ePassport at the same time the application for the extension is filed with the Embassy or Consulate;
Payment of the consular fees for the extension of the passport and the application for the ePassport; and
The extended passport shall be submitted for cancellation on the date of the release of the ePassport.
