The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh has received several referrals from concerned citizens regarding two cases of alleged distressed Filipinas circulating on social media, in particular Ms Gina Madamba Pastor and Ms. Normina Puntuan.

The Embassy appreciates the referrals by concerned citizens. However, the two cases have been resolved and both MS Pastor and Ms. Puntuan are already in the Philippines after the Embassy had resolved their cases.

Ms. Pastor was repatriated on 29 May 2013, and Ms. Puntuan on 2 October 2012.

The Embassy asks anyone who sees these on social media to comment on their status.
