Advisory:
Standardized Procedures on Verification
of School Documents for Authentication

 

(Riyadh, 17 August 2016) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh informs the Filipino community in Saudi Arabia and other concerned authorities of the standardized procedures and requirements for the verification of school documents issued in the Philippines which are to be authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) – Authentication Division:

  1. For Elementary and High School Level (Private and Public Schools):
  • Certified True Copy (CTC) of Form 137 and Diploma issued by the School Principal; and,
  • Certification, Authentication and Verification (CAV) issued by the Department of Education (DepEd).
  1. Technical and Vocational Courses:
  • Certified True Copy (CTC) of Transcript of Records and Diploma issued by the School Registrar;
  • Certified True Copy (CTC) of National Certificate issued by training center; and,
  • Certification, Authentication and Verification (CAV) issued by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
  1. Collegiate Level (Private and Local universities and Colleges):
  • Certified True Copy (CTC) of Transcript of Records and Diploma issued by the School/University Registrar; and,
  • Certification, Authentication and Verification (CAV) issued by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
  1. Collegiate Level (State Universities and Colleges:
  • Certified True Copy (CTC) of Transcript of Records and Diploma; and,
  • Certification, Authentication and Verification (CAV) issued by the Registrar of the State College and University.

All school documents to be used in Saudi Arabia must be authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) – Authentication Division in Manila and duly attested by the Philippine Embassy.
