Statement on the Recent Missile Attack
Against Riyadh and Situation in Saudi Arabia

(Riyadh, 7 November 2017) – The missile attack aimed at the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on November 4, 2017 was successfully intercepted by the Saudi authorities. No casualties were reported.

The current situation in Riyadh and the rest of the Kingdom is normal, “business as usual” and calm and there is no reason for anyone to panic.

The Philippine Foreign Mission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is always monitoring the situation on the ground and shall inform the community of any significant development as the need arises.
