or Permanent Residence Permits for These Countries

(Riyadh, 26 April 2015) - The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh would like to inform Indian tourists visiting the Philippines that the Philippine Bureau of Immigration (BI) issued BI Memorandum Circular No. SBM-2015-003 on 16 March 2015 on its AJACSSUK Policy granting visa-free entry to Indian nationals who are visiting the Philippines for tourism purposes for a stay of up to 14 days, provided they possess the following:

  1. A valid and current visa for the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore or Schengen, or a permanent residence permit for these countries.
  2. A national passport valid for at least six (6) months beyond the intended stay;
  3. Return or onward ticket to the next country of destination; and,
  4. No derogatory record with the Bureau of Immigration of the Philippines.

The visa- free entry may be extended by an additional seven (7) days for a maximum stay of 21 days.

This policy means Indian visitors who meet the abovementioned criteria need not come to the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh nor the Philippine Consulate in Jeddah, and they may proceed directly to the Philippines where the visa-free entry can be availed of in a port of entry, as well as in seaports by passengers on board cruise ships/vessels.

This type of admission will strictly be for tourism purposes only and may not be converted to any other visa category.

Indian visitors who intend to stay longer than 21 days should apply for a visa at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh or the Philippine Consulate in Jeddah, provided they have valid legal residence in Saudi Arabia. Otherwise, they may apply at the Philippine Embassy in New Delhi. (END)
