Embassy Reminds Electronic Passport Applicants
to Double-Check All Entries during Data Encoding
(Riyadh, 12 February 2014) - The Embassy reminds all electronic passport applicants to double-check their personal data entries displayed in the laptop or desktop screen during data encoding.
While this important step is a fixture of the multi-step procedure for passport processing, both for first-time applications and renewals, the Embassy continues to encounter incidences of information page errors in new passports.
It should be noted that any data errors in the passport will have to be rectified at the soonest possible time by repeating the same procedures for passport application/ renewal. To avoid this inconvenience, applicants are therefore reminded to carefully ensure that during encoding all personal data entries are correct.
