Advisory on Unclaimed Philippine Passports

(Riyadh, 2 May 2016) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh informs the Filipino community in Riyadh and the Eastern Region and other concerned persons and authorities that, pursuant to the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs’ Department Order No. 37-03 dated 23 September 2003, all Philippine passports unclaimed after six months from the date of issuance will be cancelled.

Applicants who fail to claim their new passport within the six (6) period have to re-apply and pay the prescribed passport fees.

Filipinos who have unclaimed Philippine passports within the said period are reminded to claim their passports as soon as possible to avoid inconvenience.
