Philippine Embassy Extends
17,091 Consular Services in July 2016
(Riyadh, 07 August 2016) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 17,091 consular services in July 2016:
Passport Services
For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 4,839 passport applications, as follows: 4,713 passport renewal applications; 95 new passport applications and 31 replacements of lost passport applications.
The Embassy also processed 255 passport validity extensions and 108 Travel Documents.
Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)
In July 2016, the Embassy conducted five (5) consular mobile missions, as follows: Buraidah on 1 to 2 July 2016, Al Jouf on 8 to 9 July 2016, Al Khobar on 15 to 16 July 2016, Hail on 22 to 23 July 2016 and special 1-day consular outreach mission in 2nd Industrial City, Riyadh on 30 July 2016.
Visa Services
A total of 240 visas were issued by the Embassy in July 2016, 228 of which were Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 12 were Diplomatic Visas (9E).
Civil Registry Services
The Embassy processed 183 civil registry documents in July 2016, as follows: 38 Reports of Marriage; 98 Reports of Birth; and, 47 Reports of Death.
Notarial and Authentication Services
In July 2016, the Embassy provided a total of 2,381 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 2,344 notarials and 37 authentications.
Other Services
In July 2016, the Embassy was able to release 5,163 new passports.
