Advisory:
Requirements for the Renewal of
Machine Readable-Ready (MRRP/Green) or
Machine Ready (MRP/Maroon) Passport

(Riyadh, 17 August 2016) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh wishes to reiterate to the Filipino community and other concerned authorities that, pursuant to the instruction of the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila, effective 01 July 2016, all applications for renewal of Machine Readable-Ready (MRRP/Green) or Machine Ready Passport (MRP/Maroon) booklets shall only be processed upon submission of the following requirements:

  1. Actual Machine Readable-Ready (MRRP/Green) or Machine Ready Passport (MRP/Maroon) booklet;
  2. Authenticated Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-Issued Birth Certificate;
  3. At least one (1) valid identification document; and,
  4. Other supporting documents, as may deemed necessary.(i.e. Authenticated Philippine Statistics Authority issued Marriage Contract if married and using married surname, etc.)
