1,211 Consular Services Extended during 29-30 May 2015
“Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) in Al-Khobar
(Riyadh, 02 June 2015) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducted an “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) mobile consular activity on 29-30 May 2015 at the Al-Jazeera International School in Dammam. The Embassy’s continuing efforts to expand the accessibility of its consular services resulted in the processing of a total of 281 ePassport renewal applications, 43 passport extensions, 26 Reports of Birth (ROB), 4 Lost ePassport applications, 1 Lost MRP passport application, 232 notarial applications, and the release of 623 new ePassports to the respective applicants.
Three members of the EOW team were also at hand to provide Overseas Voting Registration (OVR) services during the consular outreach activity. 136 Filipinos registered during the first day and another 50 on the second day, for a total of 186 Filipinos registering during two days of OVR.
As part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service the outreach mission distributed 300 Client Feedback forms, out of which, 131 forms were accomplished. The following were the results of the survey:
