Philippine Embassy Outreach Extends
1,834 Consular Services in Al Khobar

(Riyadh, 9 August 2015) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully held its 25th consular outreach mission or “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) in 2015 in Al Khobar on 7-8 August 2015 which was held at the Al Jazeera International School.  

The Embassy Consular Team was composed of First Secretary and Consul Mary Jennifer D. Dingal (Team Leader), Mr. Arturo Arpia, Ms. Ma. Cristina Malvas, Mr. Eujames Acopan and Mr. Acas Bayabao Jr. They were ably assisted by Filipino community volunteers from Al Khobar, Damman, Jubail and other areas in the Eastern Region.

The Team was able to process 353 e-Passport applications, 32 passport extensions, 7 lost e-Passports, 2 lost machine readable-ready passports, 21 Reports of Birth, 1 Report of Marriage, 318 notarials, and 7 authentications. The Team was also able to release 1,093 new e-Passports.

As part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service, the Team conducted a client feedback survey to 400 clients, of which 200 or 50% responded as follows:

The next consular outreach mission will be on 30 August to 3 September 2015 also in Al Khobar.
