Philippine Embassy Conducts 29th
Embassy-On-Wheels and Overseas Voting Mobile Registration for 2015
(Riyadh, 06 September 2015)- The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recently conducted its 29th Embassy-on-Wheels (EOW) at the Al Jazeera International School in Dammam, Eastern Region on 04-05 September 2015.
The two-day registration was conducted in parallel with the Overseas Voting mobile registration activities. The consular outreach mission was headed by Second Secretary and Consul Winston Dean S. Almeda.
During the activity, the Overseas Voters Mobile Team was able to register and certify a total of 452 new Overseas Voting applicants.
The on-going Overseas Voting Registration is being held at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh and during Embassy-On-Wheels schedule in the different regions under the Embassy’s jurisdictionuntil 31 October 2015 . Filipino workers in the Kingdom are reminded to bring their old COMELEC Identification Cards when coming for consular services.
The next schedule of Overseas Voting Mobile Registration will be held on25-26 September 2015 at the Al Jazeera International School in Dammam, Eastern Region.(END)
