1,452 Filipinos Served by Embassy on Wheels in Al Khobar

 

(Riyadh, 1 April 2014) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh conducted its eleventh (11th) mobile consular services or Embassy on Wheels (EOW) for 2014 at the Al Jazeera International School in Dammam on 28-29 March 2014.

The five-member Embassy team was led by Vice Consul Maria Angelica C. Genotiva, and assisted by the Filipino community in Al Khobar.

More than a thousand Filipinos availed of the 2-day EOW, and 614 Filipinos claimed their passports.

The team provided 565 passport renewal services and 1 lost passport applications, extended 52 passports, provided 193 notarial services, and registered 27 births.

A total of 1,452 services were provided during the 2-day EOW in Al Khobar, including those who claimed their passports.

The Filipinos who were able to avail themselves of consular services also accomplished 213 client feedback forms, out of 400 forms distributed.

The client feedback mechanism is part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service. The following were the results of the survey:
