Philippine Embassy Extends
16,516 Consular Services in March 2016

(Riyadh, 7 April 2016) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 16,516 consular services in March 2016:

Passport Services

For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 7,228 passport applications, as follows: 7,032 passport renewal applications; 126 new passport applications and 70 replacement of lost passport applications.

The Embassy also processed 258 passport validity extensions and 49 Travel Documents.

Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)

In March 2016, the Embassy conducted four (4) consular mobile missions, as follows: Hail on 4 to 5 March 2016, Al Jouf on11 to 12 March 2016, special 5-day consular outreach mission in Al Khobar on 20 to 24 March 2016, and Al Khobar on 25 to 26 March 2016.

Visa Services

A total of 260 visas were issued by the Embassy in March 2016, all of which were Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A).

Civil Registry Services

The Embassy processed 222 civil registry documents in March 2016, as follows: 63 Reports of Marriage; 132 Reports of Birth; 23 Reports of Death; 0 Report of Fetal Death; 3 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and, 1 application for Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition under R.A. 9225.

Notarial and Authentication Services

In March 2016, the Embassy provided a total of 2,842 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 2,805 notarials and 37 authentications.

Other Services

In March 2016, the Embassy was able to release 5,235 new passports.
