Philippine Embassy Extends
13,867 Consular Services in April 2016
(Riyadh, 22 May 2016) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 13,867 consular services in April 2016:
Passport Services
For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 5,100 passport applications, as follows: 4,879 passport renewal applications; 144 new passport applications and 77 replacement of lost passport applications.
The Embassy also processed 281 passport validity extensions and 57 Travel Documents.
Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)
In April 2016, the Embassy conducted three (3) consular mobile missions, as follows: 2nd Industrial City in Riyadh on 16 April, Buraidah on 22 to 23 April and Al Khobar on 29 to 30 April.
Visa Services
A total of 308 visas were issued by the Embassy in April 2016, all of which were Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 5 visas for 9(E) Diplomatic / Official.
Civil Registry Services
The Embassy processed 212 civil registry documents in April 2016, as follows: 48 Reports of Marriage; 147 Reports of Birth; 13 Reports of Death; 0 Report of Fetal Death; 3 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and, 1 application for Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition under R.A. 9225.
Notarial and Authentication Services
In April 2016, the Embassy provided a total of 2,749 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 2,692 notarials and 57 authentications.
Other Services
In April 2016, the Embassy was able to release 4,843 new passports.
