Philippine Embassy Extends
15,857 Consular Services in May 2016

(Riyadh, 20 June 2016) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 15,857 consular services in May 2016:

Passport Services

For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 5,662 passport applications, as follows: 5,463 passport renewal applications; 123 new passport applications and 76 replacements of lost passport applications.

The Embassy also processed 301 passport validity extensions and 72 Travel Documents.

Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)

In May 2016, the Embassy conducted four (4) consular mobile missions, as follows: Al Khobar on 6 to 7 May 2016, special 5-day consular outreach mission in Al Khobar on 15 to 19 May 2016, Al Khobar on 20 to 21 May 2016 and Al Khobar on 27 to 28 May 2016.

Visa Services

A total of 306 visas were issued by the Embassy in May 2016, all of which were Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A).

Civil Registry Services

The Embassy processed 180 civil registry documents in May 2016, as follows: 38 Reports of Marriage; 124 Reports of Birth; 17 Reports of Death; and, 1 application for Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition under R.A. 9225.

Notarial and Authentication Services

In May 2016, the Embassy provided a total of 2,934 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 2,834 notarials and 100 authentications.

Other Services

In May 2016, the Embassy was able to release 6,316 new passports.
