Philippine Embassy Extends
16,112 Consular Services in September 2016
(Riyadh, 12 October 2016) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 16,112 consular services in September 2016:
Passport Services
For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 4,855 passport applications, as follows: 4,717 passport renewal applications; 94 new passport applications and 44 replacements of lost passport applications.
The Embassy also processed 234 passport validity extensions and 51 Travel Documents.
Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)
In September 2016, the Embassy conducted three (3) consular mobile missions, as follows: Buraidah on 2 to 3 September 2016, Special 5-day consular outreach mission in Al Khobar on 11 to 15 September 2016, and Al Khobar on 16 to 17 September 2016.
Visa Services
A total of 161 visas were issued by the Embassy in September 2016; of which were 157 Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 4 Diplomatic and Official Visas (9E).
Civil Registry Services
The Embassy processed 159 civil registry documents in September 2016, as follows: 52 Reports of Marriage; 99 Reports of Birth; 6 Reports of Death; 0 Report of Fetal Death; 1 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and, 1 application for Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition under R.A. 9225.
Notarial and Authentication Services
In September 2016, the Embassy provided a total of 2,236 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 2,159 notarials and 77 authentications.
Other Services
In September 2016, the Embassy was able to release 4,256 new passports.
