Philippine Embassy Extends
54,360 Consular Services in 3rd Quarter 2016

 

(Riyadh, 24 October 2016) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 54,360 consular services in 3rd Quarter of 2016:

 

Passport Services

For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 16,425 passport applications, as follows: 15,958 passport renewal applications; 320 new passport applications and 147 replacements of lost passport applications.

The Embassy also processed 783 passport validity extensions and 252 Travel Documents.

 

Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)

In 3rd Quarter 2016, the Embassy conducted twelve (11) consular mobile missions, as follows: Buraidah, on 1 to 2 July 2016, Al Jouf, on 8 to 9 July 2016, Al Khobar on 15 to 16 July 2016, Hail, on 22 to 23 July 2016, Riyadh Industrial City, on 30 July 2016, Special 5-day consular outreach mission in Al Khobar on 14 to 18 August 2016, Al Khobar on 19 to 20 August 2016, Jubail, on 26 to 27 August 2016, Buraidah, on 2 to 3 September 2016, Special 5-day consular outreach mission in Al Khobar on 11 to 15 September 2016, and Al Khobar on 16 to 17 September 2016.

 

Visa Services

A total of 763 visas were issued by the Embassy in 3rd Quarter of 2016, of which were 734 Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 29 Diplomatic and Official (9E).

 

Civil Registry Services

The Embassy processed 571 civil registry documents in 3rd Quarter of 2016, as follows: 142 Reports of Marriage; 331 Reports of Birth; 89 Reports of Death; 0 Report of Fetal Death; 8 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and, 1 application for Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition under R.A. 9225.

 

Notarial and Authentication Services

In 3rd Quarter of 2016, the Embassy provided a total of 7,946 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 7,739 notarials and 207 authentications.

 

Other Services

In 3rd Quarter of 2016, the Embassy was able to release 14,220 new passports.
