Philippine Embassy Extends
22,856 Consular Services in October 2016
(Riyadh, 21 November 2016) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 22,856 consular services in October 2016:
Passport Services
For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 6,363 passport applications, as follows: 6,147 passport renewal applications; 149 new passport applications and 67 replacements of lost passport applications.
The Embassy also processed 332 passport validity extensions and 70 Travel Documents.
Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)
In October 2016, the Embassy conducted four (4) consular mobile missions, as follows: Dawah Center 2nd Industrial City, Riyadh on 01 October, Special 5-day consular outreach mission in Al Khobar on 16 to 20 October 2016, Alkhobar on 21 to 22 October 2016, , and Hail on 28 to 28 October 2016.
Visa Services
A total of 287 visas were issued by the Embassy in October 2016, of which were 281 Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 6 Diplomatic and Official (9E).
Civil Registry Services
The Embassy processed 232 civil registry documents in October 2016, as follows: 62 Reports of Marriage; 149 Reports of Birth; 20 Reports of Death; 0 Report of Fetal Death; 1 Petition for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and, 0 application for Citizenship Retention and 0 Reacquisition under R.A. 9225.
Notarial and Authentication Services
In October 2016, the Embassy provided a total of 3,009 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 2,865 notarials and 144 authentications.
Other Services
In October 2016, the Embassy was able to release 7,257 new passports.
