Philippine Embassy Extends
18,715 Consular Services in December 2016
(Riyadh, 15 January 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 18,715 consular services in December 2016:
Passport Services
For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 5,294 passport applications, as follows: 5,086 passport renewal applications; 132 new passport applications and 76 replacements of lost passport applications.
The Embassy also processed 451 passport validity extensions and 63 Travel Documents.
Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)
In December 2016, the Embassy conducted three (3) consular mobile missions, as follows: Jubail on 2 to 3 December 2016, Special 5-day consular outreach mission in Al Khobar on 11 to 15 December 2016, Al Khobar on 16 to 17 December 2016.
Visa Services
A total of 219 visas were issued by the Embassy in December 2016, all of which were 219 Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 0 Diplomatic and Official (9E).
Civil Registry Services
The Embassy processed 195 civil registry documents in December 2016, as follows: 54 Reports of Marriage; 135 Reports of Birth; 6 Reports of Death; 0 Report of Fetal Death; 0 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and, 0 application for Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition under R.A. 9225.
Notarial and Authentication Services
In December 2016, the Embassy provided a total of 2,562 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 2,511 notarials and 51 authentications.
Other Services
In December 2016, the Embassy was able to release 4,397 new passports. It has also provided 5,534 photocopying services.
