Philippine Embassy Extends
22,633 Consular Services in February 2017
(Riyadh, 19 March 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 22,633 consular services in February 2017:
Passport Services
For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 5,061 passport applications, as follows: 4,814 passport renewal applications; 161 new passport applications and 86 replacements of lost passport applications.
The Embassy also processed 466 passport validity extensions and 50 Travel Documents.
Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)
In February 2017, the Embassy conducted two (2) consular mobile missions, as follows: Dawah Center 2nd Industrial City, Riyadh on 18 February 2017 and Al Khobar on 24 to 25 February 2017.
Visa Services
A total of 219 visas were issued by the Embassy in February 2017, of which were 216 Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 3 Diplomatic and Official (9E).
Civil Registry Services
The Embassy processed 301 civil registry documents in February 2017, as follows: 66 Reports of Marriage; 164 Reports of Birth; 30 Reports of Death; 0 Report of Fetal Death; 3 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; 0 application for Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition under R.A. 9225; and, 38 Legal Instruments.
Notarial and Authentication Services
In February 2017, the Embassy provided a total of 2,807 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 2,766 notarials and 41 authentications.
Other Services
In February 2017, the Embassy was able to release 6,285 new passports. It was also able to provide 7,444 photocopying services
