Philippine Embassy Extends
25,588 Consular Services in March 2017
(Riyadh, 24 April 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 25,588 consular services in March 2017:
Passport Services
For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 7,228 passport applications, as follows: 7,058 passport renewal applications; 170 new passport applications and 89 applications for replacement of lost passports.
The Embassy also processed 605 passport validity extensions and 52 Travel Documents.
Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)
In March 2017, the Embassy conducted four (4) consular mobile missions, as follows: Hafar Al Batin on 17 to 18 March 2017, Hail on 24 to 25 March 2017, Special 4-day consular outreach mission in Dhahran on 27 to 30 March 2017 and Dhahran on 31 March to 01 April 2017.
Visa Services
A total of 291 visas were issued by the Embassy in March 2017, 290 of which were Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 1 Diplomatic and Official (9E).
Civil Registry Services
The Embassy processed 303 civil registry documents in March 2017, as follows: 44 Reports of Marriage; 165 Reports of Birth; 19 Reports of Death; 0 Report of Fetal Death; 6 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and, 0 application for Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition under R.A. 9225.
Notarial and Authentication Services
In March 2017, the Embassy provided a total of 3,113 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 3,028 notarials and 85 authentications.
Other Services
In March 2017, the Embassy was able to release 4,932 new passports. It also rendered 8,975 photocopying services.
