Philippine Embassy Extends
67,488 Consular Services in 1st Quarter of 2017
(Riyadh, 30 April 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 67,488 consular services in 1st Quarter of 2017:
Passport Services
For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 16,864 passport applications, as follows: 16,151 passport renewal applications; 478 new passport applications and 235 replacements of lost passport applications.
The Embassy also processed 1,401 passport validity extensions and 146 Travel Documents.
Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)
In March 2017, the Embassy conducted seven (7) consular mobile missions, as follows: Al Jouf and Arar on 13 to 14 January 2017, Riyadh 2nd Industrial City on 18 February 2017, Dammam on 24 to 25 February 2017, Hafar Al batin on 17 to 18 March 2017, Hail on 24 to 25 March 2017, Special 4-day consular outreach mission in Dhahran on 27 to 30 March 2017 and Dhahran on 31 March to 01 April 2017.
Visa Services
A total of 755 visas were issued by the Embassy in 1st Quarter of 2017, of which were 749 Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 6 Diplomatic and Official (9E).
Civil Registry Services
The Embassy processed 861 civil registry documents in 1st Quarter of 2017, as follows: 180 Reports of Marriage; 476 Reports of Birth; 57 Reports of Death; 0 Report of Fetal Death; 10 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; application for Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition under R.A. 9225; and, 138 Legal Instruments Registered.
Notarial and Authentication Services
In 1st Quarter of 2017, the Embassy provided a total of 8,383 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 8,209 notarials and 174 authentications.
Other Services
In 1st Quarter of 2017, the Embassy was able to release 15,419 new passports. It has also provided 23,659 photocopying services.

As part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service, it has conducted a client feedback survey to 14,199 clients, of which 9,356 or 65.89% responded as follows:
