Embassy on Wheels and Overseas Voting Registration
Conducted in Dhahran

Passport renewal applicants during the EOW

 

(Riyadh, 04 May 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully held its 11th consular outreach mission or “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) in 2017 at the Double Tree in Dhahran on 12-13 May 2017. The Embassy Consular Team was composed of Consul Mary Jennifer D. Dingal (Team Leader) ,Ms. Francia R. Ybañez, Ms. Maria Luisa P. Collado, Mr. Edison Y. Ipac, Mr. Ramil E. Arana, Mr. Faisal Richard A. Tamano, Mr. Acas M. Bayabao Jr., Mr. Jose Rico R. Laurel and Ms. Margarita P. Manigo.

The Team was able to process 473 e-Passport applications, 15 Reports of Birth, 51 extensions of passport validity, 2 replacements of lost passport, 1 Travel Document, 1 Petition for Correction of Clerical Error, 275 notarial services and 5 authentication services. The Team was also able to release 522 new e-Passports.

As part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service, the Team conducted a client feedback survey to 500 clients, of which 275 or 55% responded as follows:

Meanwhile, the Overseas Voting Mobile Registration was conducted in parallel with the Embassy’s mobile consular outreach. The team was able to register 339 new overseas voters, 62 for the Certifications and 1 recapture during the two-day OV registration on the above- stated venue. At the same time, there were twenty-five (25) applicants who are verified active overseas voters.

The next schedule of Embassy on Wheels and OV Mobile Registration will be on 19-20 May 2017 at Jubail, KSA.
