Philippine Embassy Extends
23,751 Consular Services in April 2017
(Riyadh, 25 May 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 23,751 consular services in April 2017:
Passport Services
For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 5,446 passport applications, as follows: 5,101 passport renewal applications; 245 new passport applications and 100 replacements of lost passport applications.
The Embassy also processed 628 passport validity extensions and 87 Travel Documents.
Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)
In April 2017, the Embassy conducted four (4) consular mobile missions, as follows: Buraidah on 7 to 8 April 2017, Dhahran on 14 to 15 April 2017, 2nd Industrial City, Da’awa Center in Riyadh on 22 April 2017, and Dhahran on 28 to 29 April 2017.
Visa Services
A total of 225 visas were issued by the Embassy in April 2017, of which were 224 Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 1 Diplomatic and Official (9E) Visa.
Civil Registry Services
The Embassy processed 1,256 civil registry documents in April 2017, as follows: 50 Reports of Marriage; 814 Reports of Birth; 24 Reports of Death; 0 Reports of Fetal Death; 367 Legal Instruments registered, 1 Petition for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and, 0 applications for Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition under R.A. 9225.
Notarial and Authentication Services
In April 2017, the Embassy provided a total of 3,061 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 2,969 notarials and 92 authentications.
Other Services
In April 2017, the Embassy was able to release 4,784 new passports. It also provided 8,265 photocopying services.
