Philippine Embassy Extends
16,094 Consular Services in June 2017
(Riyadh, 16 July 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 16,094 consular services in June 2017:
Passport Services
For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 2,744 passport applications, as follows: 2,621 passport renewal applications; 83 new passport applications and 40 replacements of lost passport applications.
The Embassy also processed 421 passport validity extensions and 11 Travel Documents.
Visa Services
A total of 210 visas were issued by the Embassy in June 2017, of which were 204 Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 6 Diplomatic and Official (9E).
Civil Registry Services
The Embassy processed 266 civil registry documents in June 2017, as follows: 35 Reports of Marriage; 146 Reports of Birth; 15 Reports of Death; 0 Reports of Fetal Death; 2 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and, 0 applications for Citizenship Retention, Reacquisition under R.A. 9225 and 68 Legal Instruments Registered.
Notarial and Authentication Services
In June 2017, the Embassy provided a total of 1,484 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 1,484 notarials and 57 authentications.
Other Services
In June 2017, the Embassy was able to release 3,419 new passports. It also extended 7,482 photocopying services.
