Philippine Embassy Extends
27,913 Consular Services in October 2017
(Riyadh, 7 November 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 27,913 consular services in October 2017:
Passport Services
For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 7,111 passport applications, as follows: 6,894 passport renewal applications; 147 new passport applications and 70 replacements of lost passport applications.
The Embassy also processed 579 passport validity extensions and 67 Travel Documents.
Visa Services
A total of 263 visas were issued by the Embassy in October 2017, of which were 253 Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 10 Diplomatic and Official (9E).
Civil Registry Services
The Embassy processed 264 civil registry documents in October 2017, as follows: 60 Reports of Marriage; 154 Reports of Birth; 16 Reports of Death; 0 Report of Fetal Death; 2 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and, 0 application for Citizenship Retention, Reacquisition under R.A. 9225 and 32 Legal Instruments Registrations.
Notarial and Authentication Services
In October 2017, the Embassy provided a total of 2,997 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 2,917 notarials and 80 authentications.
Other Services
In October 2017, the Embassy was able to release 7,376 new passports and provided 9,256 photocopying services.

As part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service, it has conducted a client feedback survey to 5,390 clients, of which 4,078 or 75.66% responded as follows:
