Philippine Embassy Extends
27,051 Consular Services in November 2017

 

(Riyadh, 9 January 2018) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 27,051 consular services in November 2017:

 

Passport Services

For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 6,895 passport applications, as follows: 6,691 passport renewal applications; 142 new passport applications and 62 replacements of lost passport applications.

The Embassy also processed 603 passport validity extensions and 42 Travel Documents.

 

Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)

In November 2017, the Embassy conducted four (4) consular mobile missions, as follows: Jubail on 10 to 11 November 2017, Riyadh 2nd Industrial City (Da’awa Islamic Center on 18 November 2017, Dhahran (Special EOW; for passport renewal only) on 20-23 November 2017 and Dhahran on 24-25 November 2017.

 

Visa Services

A total of 230 visas were issued by the Embassy in November 2017, of which were 226 Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 4 Diplomatic and Official (9E).

 

Civil Registry Services

The Embassy processed 251 civil registry documents in November 2017, as follows: 58 Reports of Marriage; 150 Reports of Birth; 11 Reports of Death; 0 Reports of Fetal Death; 4 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and, 2 applications for Citizenship Retention, Reacquisition under R.A. 9225 and 26 Legal Instruments registrations.

 

Notarial and Authentication Services

In November 2017, the Embassy provided a total of 2,737 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 2,570 notarials and 167 authentications.

 

Other Services

In November 2017, the Embassy was able to release 6,441 new passports and other services for Photocopying services 9,852.
