Philippine Embassy Extends
71,806 Consular Services in 1st Quarter of 2018
(Riyadh, 22 April 2018) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh. Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is pleased to inform the Filipino community that it has extended 71,806 consular services in the 1st Quarter of 2018:
Passport Services
For passport and other related services, the Embassy processed 18,915 passport applications, as follows: 18,369 passport renewal applications; 411 new passport applications and 135 replacements of lost passport applications.
The Embassy also processed 1,982 passport validity extensions and 131 Travel Documents.
Consular Outreach Missions or Embassy on Wheels (EOW)
In the 1st Quarter of 2018, the Embassy conducted seven (10) consular mobile missions for 2018.
Visa Services
A total of 579 visas were issued by the Embassy in the 1st Quarter of 2018, all of which were 578 Temporary Visitor’s Visas (9A) and 1 Diplomatic and Official (9E).
Civil Registry Services
The Embassy processed 735 civil registry documents in the 1st Quarter of 2018, as follows: 184 Reports of Marriage; 412 Reports of Birth; 60 Reports of Death; 0 Report of Fetal Death; 14 Petitions for Correction of Clerical Error under R.A. 9048; and, 0 application for Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition under R.A. 9225.
Notarial and Authentication Services
In the 1st Quarter of 2018, the Embassy provided a total of 8,996 notarial and authentication services, as follows: 8,618 notarials and 378 authentications.
Other Services
In the 1st Quarter of 2018, the Embassy was able to release 17,730 new passports.
