Philippine Embassy Outreach Extends
2,335 Consular Services in Al Khobar

(Riyadh, 13 July 2014) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully held its consular outreach mission or “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) at the Al Jazeera International School in Dammam in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia on 11-12 July 2014.

The five-member team, which was headed by Consul Mary Jennifer D. Dingal was able to process 515 passport applications, 399 notarial services, 30 birth registrations, 59 passport extensions, and releases 1,332 claimed new passports.

The Team was assisted by volunteers from the Filipino community in the Eastern Region. “ I personally thank the community volunteers who give their time and effort to help the Embassy team that goes to Al-Khobar for its consular outreach program.” Said the Philippine Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

As part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service, the team conducted a client feedback survey to 400 clients, of which 149 responded as follows:
