Embassy on Wheels Provides 1,331
Consular Services in Al Khobar

The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh recently visited Al Khobar for its 27th Embassy on Wheels (EOW) consular outreach mission this year.

The mission provided a total of 1,331 consular services to Filipinos in the Eastern Province on 12-13 September 2014 at the Al Jazeera International School Dammam.

The eight-member Embassy team, led by Vice Consul Redentor D. Genotiva, processed 537 passport renewals, 2 lost passports, 47 passport extensions, 222 notarials, 1 travel document, 27 reports of birth and 2 corrections pursuant to R.A. 9048.  The team also released 493 new e-passports. The team was augmented by volunteers from the Filipino community in the Eastern Province.

The Embassy also provided Overseas Voting Registration (OVR) services and registered 549 new overseas voters.

As part of the Embassy’s program to improve customer service, the outreach mission also distributed client feedback forms to 400 clients, of which 146 responded as follows:
