ON THE
2017 KSA AMNESTY PROGRAMME:
“A NATION WITHOUT VIOLATORS”

Bulletin No. 002

Today, 29 March 2017, the 2017 KSA Amnesty Programme “A Nation Without Violators” has begun. Upon clarifying with the concerned Saudi Authorities, the Philippine Embassy has come up with the following guidelines for Filipinos who wish to avail of the Amnesty:

GENERAL PROCEDURES FOR APPLICATION FOR 2017 KSA AMNESTY

  1. For those who are holders of valid Passports and Travel Documents and know their Iqama numbers, you must apply for appointment online via the Ministry of Interior’s website (see procedure for applying for online appointment for Amnesty).
     
  2. For those who are holders of Valid Passports and Travel documents, but do not know their Iqama number or have never been issued Iqama cards, you may proceed directly to the Jawasat processing center in your area.
     
  3. For those who have expired Passports or whose Passports need extending, proceed to the Philippine Embassy to have your Passports extended. Once you receive your extended Passport, and if you know your Iqama number, you may proceed to apply for appointment online (see procedure for applying for online appointment for Amnesty). If you do not know your Iqama number, you may proceed directly to the Jawasat processing center in your area.
     
  4. For those who have expired Travel Documents, proceed to the Philippine Embassy to have your Travel Document extended. Once you receive your extended Travel Document, and if you know your Iqama number, you may proceed to apply for appointment online (see procedure for applying for online appointment for Amnesty). If you do not know your Iqama number, you may proceed directly to the Jawasat processing center in your area.
     
  5. For those who do not have a valid Passport or Travel Document, proceed to the Philippine Embassy to apply for Travel Document. After you receive your Travel Document, and  if you know your Iqama number, you may proceed to apply for appointment online (see procedure for applying for online appointment for Amnesty). If you do not know your Iqama number, you may proceed directly to the Jawasat processing center in your area.
     

NOTE: The Jawasat Processing Center in Riyadh is located at 7516 Zaid IbnThabit, Al Malaz, Riyadh. The Center is open from 7 am to 2 pm only.

THERE ARE NO OTHER PROCESSING CENTERS IN RIYADH DESIGNATED BY THE MINISTRY OF INTERIOR AT THIS TIME.

Please not that the abovementioned guidelines are temporary only. A team of officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Department of Labor (DOLE), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) and other concerned agencies will be arriving to assist the Philippine Embassy in processing the documents required by those Filipinos who wish to avail of the Amnesty. New guidelines will be put in place once the team arrives.

PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE APPOINTMENT FOR AMNESTY

(For those with known Iqama Numbers only)

STEP ONE: Go to the Ministry of Interior Website (www.moi.gov.sa)

STEP TWO: Click on “Book an Appointment” under “Passports” (Under the Color Purple Line)

STEP THREE: Enter your Iqama Number and Birthdate in Gregorian Calendar, enter the image code provided, then click “Verify My Details”

STEP FOUR: Click on “Proceed to service”

STEP FIVE: Click on “Book New Appointment”

STEP SIX: Check top right option (in Arabic), then select region (for example “Al-Riyad”, then select Number of Transactions (1 only), then click “Next”

If the only option is “Information transfer”, you will have to go directly to the Jawasat Office without appointment.

STEP SEVEN: Click “Select” under “Actions”

STEP EIGHT: Select desired date of appointment

STEP NINE: Click Confirm Appointment Details

STEP TEN: Click Print, then click “No” on the pop-up window

STEP ELEVEN: Click Print again at the bottom of the page that pops up.

After printing your appointment slip, wait until the day of your appointment and bring the appointment slip and any of the following:

  1. Valid Passport
  2. Travel Document
  3. Original or copy of Iqama and/or Jawasat printout

At the Jawasat, your application will be processed, and once cleared, you will be given a final exit. You may then book your flight and leave the country. - END
