PHILIPPINE EMBASSY BULLETIN
ON THE
2017 KSA AMNESTY PROGRAMME:
“A NATION WITHOUT VIOLATORS”
Bulletin No. 007
Today, 14 June 2017, Embassy Officials met with Saudi Immigration (Jawazat) Officials in the Amnesty Center in Malaz, where the latter informed the former that DNA Testing will no longer be implemented or required by the Jawazat for Mothers and Children applying for the Amnesty.
Instead, Jawazat officials will require proof of parentage through a Birth Notification from the Saudi Hospital where the child was born, and/or a copy of the Report of Birth issued by the Philippine Embassy.
In this light, all Mothers and Children who wish to avail of the Amnesty are instructed to immediately proceed to the Embassy to process their Reports of Birth if they have not done so yet.
Furthermore, those Filipinos who have custody of Filipino children who were abandoned by their biological parents are also instructed to proceed to the Embassy to be briefed by the Social Welfare Attaché and for issuance of appropriate documents.
Failure to comply with the above may result in non-issuance of final exit by the Jawazat. - END
