Bulletin no. 10

PHILIPPINE EMBASSY BULLETIN
ON THE
2017 KSA AMNESTY PROGRAMME:
“A NATION WITHOUT VIOLATORS”

Bulletin No. 011

The Philippine Embassy reminds all Filipino Nationals who are qualified to avail of the extended Amnesty granted by the Saudi Government to immediately undertake all necessary procedures in order to obtain their final exit from the Saudi Immigration (Jawasat) Amnesty Processing Centers. Note that the extension of the Amnesty will end on 15 October 2017.

Those who were able to obtain their final exit through the Amnesty, but who have no means to purchase their airfare to return to the Philippines may proceed to the Philippine Embassy to request for ticket assistance.

Please also note that the Jawasat clarified that those who allow their final exit visas to expire will have to pay a penalty of SAR 1000.00 to have their visas renewed. This serves as a correction to the Embassy’s earlier Bulletin (No.010) which stated that the Jawasat will renew without penalty the expired exit visas of amnesty applicants.

Note that only those expatriates who fall under the abovementioned criteria before the official announcement of the Amnesty on 19 March 2017 will be allowed to avail of the provisional extension of the Amnesty.

Once again the Philippine Embassy encourages all Filipinos illegally staying in the Kingdom and who qualify for the Extended Amnesty to immediately avail of the Amnesty to avoid being arrested, detained and made to pay corresponding penalties by the Saudi Government. - END
