Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
2nd Overseas Voting Outreach in Dammam
(Riyadh, 01 March 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducted its second (2nd) Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2017 at Moon Hotel in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 24-25 February 2017.
The two-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Consul Mary Jennifer D. Dingal. The OV Team was able to register 351 new Overseas Voters, 73 certifications, 9 reactivations and facilitated one (1) transfer without biometrics.
The next schedule of Overseas Voting Mobile Registration will be held in Hafr Al Batin Province, KSA on 17-18 March 2017.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters to be able to vote in the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
