Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
5th Overseas Voting Outreach in Dhahran
(Riyadh, 03 April 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducts its fifth (5th) Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2017 at Double Tree Hotel in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 27 March 2017 to 01 April 2017.
The six-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Vice Consul Von Ryan S. Ferrera. The OV Team was able to register 915 new Overseas Voters, 176 for the Certifications, 36 for Reactivation and facilitated one (1) Transfer of Registration Record.
The next schedule of Overseas Voting Mobile Registration will be held in Buraydah Province, KSA on 07-08 April 2017.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
