Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
6th Overseas Voting Outreach in Buraidah
(Riyadh, 16 April 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully held its sixth (6TH) Overseas Voting (OV) Mobile Registration at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Buraidah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 07-08 April 2017.
The Overseas Voters Mobile Team was composed of Mr. Donald Rodel Fermin, Mr. Lito Relucio and Ms. Nora Nirza. The two-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Vice-Consul Noel L. Rodriguez. The OV Team was able to register 260 new Overseas Voters, 73 for the Certifications and facilitated one (1) Transfer of Registration Record.
The next Overseas Voting Mobile Registration will be held in Al Daawa Islamic Center, 2nd Industrial City, Riyadh, KSA on 22 April 2017.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters to enable them to vote in the Senatorial Elections in 2019.(END)
