Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
Overseas Voting Outreach in Jubail
(Riyadh, 25 September 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducts Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach at the Intercontinental Hotel Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 22-23 September 2017.
The two-days registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Vice-Consul Von Ryan S. Ferrera. The OV Team was able to register 75 new Overseas Voters, 244 for the Certifications, 20 for Reactivation, 4 Transfer of Records, 3 Change of Address (within consular jurisdiction) and facilitated 1 Correction of OV Record.
The next schedule of Overseas Voting Mobile Registration will be held in Buraydah Province, KSA on 13-14 October 2017.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
