Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
21st Overseas Voting Outreach in Buraidah
(Riyadh, 15 October 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducts its twenty-first (21st) Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2017 at Golden Tulip Hotel, Buraidah, Al Qassim, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 13 to 14 October 2017.
The two-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Vice Consul Von Ryan S. Ferrera. The OV Team was able to register 112 new Overseas Voters, 193 for the Certifications, facilitated 2 transfer of records, 25 reactivation of records, 1 transfer without biometrics, and 1 for recapture..
The next schedule of OV Mobile Registration will be on 23 to 26 October 2017 at the Double Tree Hotel in Dhahran.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
