Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
Special Overseas Voting Outreach in Dhahran
(Riyadh, 29 October 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducts its Twenty-Second (22nd) Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2017 at Double Tree Hotel Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 23-26 October 2017.
The four-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Special Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach. The OV Team was able to register 251 new Overseas Voters, 497 for the Certifications, 6 for Transfer of Registration Record and 24 for Reactivation.
The next schedule of OV Mobile Registration will be held in Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 10-11 November 2017.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
