Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
24th Overseas Voting Outreach in Jubail
(Riyadh, 13 November 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducts its Twenty-Fourth (24th) Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2017 at the Intercontinental Hotel Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 10-11 November 2017.
The two-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Vice Consul Noel L. Rodriguez. The OV Team was able to register 98 new Overseas Voters, 190 for Certification, 21 for Reactivation and facilitated other services such as 1 Recapture of Biometrics, 2 Transfer of Records and 7 Change of Address within Consular Jurisdiction.
The next schedule of OV Mobile Registration will be on 20-23 November 2017 at the Double Tree Hotel in Dhahran.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
