Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
27th Overseas Voting Outreach in Dhahran
(Riyadh, 26 November 2017) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducts its twenty-seventh (27th) Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2017 at Double Tree Hotel, Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 24 to 25 November 2017.
The two-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Consul Mary Jennifer D. Dingal. The OV Team was able to register 93 new overseas voters, 186 for the certifications, 19 for reactivation, 5 change of address (within the same Consular jurisdiction), and 3 for transfer.
The next schedule of OV Mobile Registration will be in Hail, K.S.A. on 8-9 December 2017.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
