Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
2nd Overseas Voting Outreach in Dhahran
(Riyadh, 30 January 2018) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducts its second (2nd) Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2018 at Double Tree Hotel, Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 26 to 27 January 2018.
The two-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Vice Consul Noel L. Rodriguez. The OV Team was able to register 129 new overseas voters, 221 for the certifications, 27 for reactivation, 9 for transfer, and 1 change of address (within the same Consular jurisdiction).
The next schedule of OV Mobile Registration will be held in 2nd Industrial City, K.S.A. on 03 February 2018.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
