Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
3rd Overseas Voting Outreach in Hail, KSA
(Riyadh, 11 February 2018) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducted its third (3rd) Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2018 at Golden Tulip Hotel Hail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 09-10 February 2018.
The two-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Vice Consul General Noel L. Rodriguez. The OV Team was able to register 97 new Overseas Voters, 140 for the Certifications, 5 for Reactivation and facilitated 1 Transfer of registration records.
The next schedule of OV Mobile Registration will be on 19-24 February 2018 at Dhahran, Eastern Region.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
