Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
4th Overseas Voting Outreach in Dhahran
(Riyadh, 26 February 2018) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducts its Fourth (4th) Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2018 at Double Tree Hotel Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 19-24 February 2018.
The six-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Vice Consul Von Ryan S. Ferrera. The OV Team was able to register 326 new Overseas Voters, 721 for the Certifications, 77 for Reactivation, 1 Correction of OV records, 1 Recapture of Biometrics, 22 Change of Address and facilitated 16 Transfer of registration records.
The next schedule of OV Mobile Registration will be on 02-03 March 2018 at Hafr Al Batin, KSA.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
