Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
5th Overseas Voting Outreach in Hafar Al Batin
(Riyadh, 04 March 2018) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducts its fifth (5th) Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2018 at Ramada Hotel, Hafar Al Batin, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 02 to 03 March 2018.
The two-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by First Secretary and Consul Mary Jennifer D. Dingal. The OV Team was able to register 63 new overseas voters, 145 for the certifications, 13 for reactivation, 1 for transfer, and 1 correction of OV records.
The next schedule of OV Mobile Registration will be held in Jubail, K.S.A. on 09 – 10 March 2018.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
