Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
6th Overseas Voting Outreach in Jubail
(Riyadh, 11 March 2018) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducted its sixth (6th) Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2018 at Golden Tulip, Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 09 to 10 March 2018.
The two-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by First Secretary and Consul Christopher Patrick T. Aro. The OV Team was able to register 84 new overseas voters, 200 for the certifications, 12 for reactivation, 6 for transfer with reactivation, and 1 for transfer.
The next schedule of OV Mobile Registration will be held in Dhahran, K.S.A. on 23 to 24 March 2018.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
