Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
7th Overseas Voting Outreach in Dhahran
(Riyadh, 25 March 2018) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducts its seventh (7th) Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2018 at Double Tree Hotel, Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 23 to 24 March 2018.
The two-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Noel L. Rodriguez. The OV Team was able to register 165 new overseas voters, 251 for the certifications, 20 for reactivation, 10 for transfer with reactivation, 3 for transfer, 2 for correction of records, and 1 for change of address.
The next schedule of OV Mobile Registration will be held in Da'awah Islamic Center, 2nd Industrial City, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 07 April 2018.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
