Philippine Embassy Successfully Conducts
9th Overseas Voting Outreach in Buraidah, Al Qassim, KSA
(Riyadh, 16 April 2018) – The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh successfully conducts its ninth (9th) Overseas Voting (OV) Registration Outreach for the year 2018 at Golden Tulip Hotel Buraidah Al Qassim, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 13-14 April 2018.
The two-day registration outreach was conducted in parallel with the Embassy-On-Wheels Consular Outreach headed by Vice Consul Noel L. Rodriguez. The OV Team was able to register 152 new Overseas Voters, 211 for the Certifications, 28 for Reactivation and facilitated 6 Transfer of registration records.
The next schedule of OV Mobile Registration will be on 23-28 April 2018 at Dhahran, Eastern Region.
The Philippine Embassy invites all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to register as overseas voters in order to exercise their right to suffrage that would enable them to vote for the Senatorial Elections in 2019. (END)
